    Una delle band più grandiose degli ultimi 30 anni... sono cresciuto con la loro musica, sognando di poter ripercorrere le loro orme... ho coltivato e sto coltivando il mio sogno di suonare dopo aver visto un'intervista profondissima e toccante di Portnoy nella quale racconta tutte le difficoltà per arrivare dove sono arrivati e soprattutto come è riuscito a realizzare il suo sogno, tenendo sempre duro e non mollando mai, cosa che ha consigliato a chiunque stesse guardando l'intervista... prendetele come cose banali ma per me non lo sono, soprattutto perchè nei suoi occhi vedo ed ho sempre visto quella sincerità che riconosci subito.
    I DT sono da sempre fra i miei gruppi preferiti. Oggi la decisione scioccante ed improvvisa di Portnoy, leader per eccellenza, di lasciare la band per alcune divergenze di vedute...

    Sto ancora traumatizzato, è stata una cosa talmente improvvisa che non riesco a rendermene conto... e soprattutto era inimmaginabile... cioè è come se Totti improvvisamente lasciasse la Roma (non dico Gerrard perchè purtroppo ultimamente i media ne hanno sparate di tutti i colori)..

    Portnoy sta attualmente suonando con gli Avenged Sevenfold, band che mi piace da impazzire (anche se il mio gruppo preferito sono i MUSE e ho visto che li hai anche postati, sei un grande!!!!!)
    Hanno un concerto in programma mi sembra il 18-10-2010 a Milano...

    Se posso darti un consiglio, visto i generi che ascolti, prova ad ascoltarti Andre Matos, è un cantante brasiliano dalla voce incredibile.
    Ha suonato inizialmente in un gruppo chiamato Angra e dopo è andato negli Shaaman, per continuare poi la carriera come solista.
    Se vuoi un paio di canzoni per non andare proprio a caso ti consiglio "Reaching Horizons" e "Carry on"

    Questo quì è un grande: è uno street performer che crea la sua musica SOLO con la sua voce e qualche pedaliera che usa per creare i loop da usare come "base" e per dare qualche effetto vario. E' veramente bravissimo!
